An Inspiring Book

Book Christian HistoryI recently finished reading, On This Day in Christian History. It is an interesting and inspiring book. For each day of the year there is a story from Christian history. I was introduced to incredible Christians I had never heard of before and also learned little known facts about Christianity’s history. This book contains stories that span the centuries. There are tales of Christians where were persecuted by Nero, stories of modern missionaries, and stories from every time in between. We have a great Christian legacy that has been handed down to us. This book captures that legacy and encouraged me to do my part in carry on the faith and courage that Christian men and women have been known for since the beginning of Christianity. The stories also inspired me to live a more dedicated life for the Lord and they also help me see why Christianity is where it is today. Sadly, some of the content is a bit on the graphic side and would not be appropriate for children.
